The Hcareers fit score combines your personal job preferences as well as machine learning technology to recommend jobs that are the best fit for you. This technology helps you determine how well you stack up against a particular job opportunity.
Before you access the Hcareers fit score assessment you must have a registered account. After completing the registration process navigate to the Find Jobs tab on the main menu. Once you access the job details page, navigate to your personal fit score on the right, and then click on “update your fit score.”
Now that you have accessed the fitness assessment, you will navigate through the following items to calculate your fit score.
Salary Fit
The beginning of the assessment asks you to choose your desired salary. Be mindful of the average salary range of the positions you’re applying for. This will ensure that Hcareers recommends jobs that are within your selected salary level.
Navigate the easy to use scroll bar to choose your minimum base salary requirement.
Skill Fit
Hcareers’ skills surveys determine your qualifications and experience against the jobs you’re looking for. These include questions around your interests, education, and abilities to understand how suited you are for particular job openings. Carefully read and answer the questions thoroughly to ensure you receive an accurate score. Once you complete the assessment you are given a rating that shows how qualified you are for a given job.
Culture Fit
An important component of how people feel about their jobs is how well the culture of the employer blends with their values and way of life. The culture fit section of the fit score assessment allows you to input the job values that are important to you.
You are then asked about interested perks and benefits to get a better understanding of your desired compensation outside of salary. Lastly, you’re given a chance to input relevant experience to help strengthen your existing skills and qualifications.
Now that you have a personalized fit score you can begin to apply to the jobs that are the best match based on the above consideration factors. Feel free to use the many filtering options available to toggle between jobs that contain different parameters such as relevance, distance, skill fit, and culture fit.
